 Foi apresentado, no dia 5 de Dezembro, na Câmara Municipal do Porto, o Plano de Gestão do Centro Histórico do Porto – Património Mundial, elaborado pela Porto Vivo, SRU, do qual Rui Loza, Administrador da Porto Vivo, SRU, e Margarida Guimarães foram os coordenadores. O Plano de Gestão foi apresentado sumariamente por Rui Loza. Estiveram presentes nesta cerimónia Rui Rio, Presidente da Câmara Municipal do Porto; Fernando Andresen Guimarães, Presidente da Comissão Nacional da UNESCO;

The Spanish group Marsans, country leader in the tourist and transport sectors, sold its headquarters to the real estate fund Union Investment. Many UK credit institutes, solicited by the government, will resume the issuing of bank mortgages for 100% of the commercial value of real estates. La joint venture se llama 'Architectural Couture' y se dedicará a las grandes realizaciones inmobiliarias en lugares prestigiosos del mundo. GIO se ocupará de construcción y gestión. El diseño, la calidad y la sostenibilidad de las viviendas promovidas por el Ayuntamiento de Madrid han obtenido el reconocimiento de la Asociación de Promotores y Constructores de España, APCE, que en sus galardones 2007 ha premiado la promoción de viviendas Vallecas 16 como la mejor edificación de vivienda protegida de España. Po 12 mesiacoch od začiatku nadzemných stavebných prác je hotová hrubá tavba novej mestskej štvrte Eurovea na dunajskom nábreží v Bratislave. Investorom projektu je írska spoločnosť Ballymore Properties. Ukončenie prác na celom projekte Eurovea s plochou 240.000 m² je naplánované na rok2010.

Według danych GUS, w ubiegłym roku w Polsce przybyło 75 nowych hoteli, a zdaniem firm monitorujących rynek hotelowy, do 2012 roku przybędzie ich 500. Z analiz Polskiego Instytutu Turystyki wynika, że w najbliższych latach nastąpi wzrost zainteresowania usługami hotelowymi w Polsce zarówno ze strony cudzoziemców, jak i polskich turystów. Wzrośnie zapotrzebowanie na nowe obiekty hotelowe, pensjonaty i ośrodki wczasowe, zwłaszcza w regionach gdzie ich liczba jest niewystarczająca.
Od piątku 12 grudnia krakowianie mogą korzystać z pierwszej linii Krakowskiego Szybkiego Tramwaju, który połączy północną i południową część miasta. Prezydent Krakowa Jacek Majchrowski podczas czwartkowej uroczystości uruchomienia pierwszej nitki Szybkiego Tramwaju zapowiedział, że w następnych latach szybki tramwaj dojedzie także do innych części miasta. - Chcemy, by w przyszłym roku rozpoczęły się prace przy budowie torowiska do os. Golikówka, które w dalszej perspektywie zostanie przedłużone nad magistralą kolejową do ulicy Wielickiej.
9 grudnia odbyło się ogłoszenie wyników rankingu na najcenniejsze polskie marki, zorganizowanego przez dziennik „Rzeczpospolita”. Gościem spotkania był Sekretarz Stanu w Ministerstwie Gospodarki Adam Szejnfeld. Powiedział m.in. że nagrodzone firmy budują przyszłość polskiej gospodarki. Poinformował też, że rząd dąży do stworzenia marki „Polska”. - Chcemy, żeby nasz kraj był marką znaną i cenioną na całym świecie. Nie da się tego uczynić bez rozpoznawalnych marek polskich firm - podkreślił Minister Szejnfeld.
